None, TellPoint is a 100% web based application. For those cases where you may want to record your own messages on your computer additional software may be required.

How will I be billed for this service?
Each connected call will cost one TellPoint Credit. A connected call is defined as a phone call which was answered by human or by an answering machine or voice mail system. Any phone calls which where not answered, busy, or a bad/disconnected number will not be charged.
Do TellPoint Credits expire?
Yes, TellPoint Credits expire 14 months after they are purchased.
Can I get a credit back from my TellPoint Credits?
Yes, as long as you are within 14 days of purchase order and you have not used any of the TellPoint Credits purchased within the order.
How many TellPoint Credits are required to start a Call Campaign?
To start a Call Campaign there must be TellPoint Credits in your account which at least equal the number of unique phone numbers within the Phone Number Lists included in the Call Campaign. For example, suppose you add 2 Phone Number Lists to a Call Campaign. The first list contains 100 phone numbers and the second list contains 200 phone numbers of which 50 exist in the first list. This would mean 250 (100 + 200 - 50) TellPoint Credits would be required to start the Call Campaign; 100 for the first Phone Number List and 150 for the unique phone numbers from the second list. Phone Number Lists cannot contain duplicate phone numbers.
How many calls can be made within a Call Campaign?
Currently there is no limit to the number of calls which can be made for a single Call Campaign. Phone Lists are limited to 100,000 phone numbers per list however you may use more than one Phone List within a single Call Campaign.
When are the calls actually placed?
Calls are placed between 9am and 9pm for the U.S. time zone for which the phone number's area code is registered. For example the phone number 214-444-6370 has an area code of 214 which is a Dallas, Texas area code so calls will be placed to this number between the hours of 9am and 9pm Central Standard Time.
My Call Campaign appears to be stalled and is not completing what might be the problem?
It is important to understand Call Campaigns which are started outside the hours of 9am to 9pm will wait until the next day.
What happens when a phone call receives a busy response or no answer?
TellPoint will retry the operation again up to 3 times per phone number waiting at least 15 minutes between retry attempts
What happens when a phone call is made to a bad or disconnected phone number?
TellPoint will not retry the operation and will record the phone call as an "error" in the Call Campaign report
Can I start multiple Call Campaigns at once?
Yes, as long as you have enough TellPoint Credits
I notice my TellPoint Credit amount goes down when I start Call Campaigns and then goes back up again, why is this?
At the start of a Call Campaign TellPoint Credits in the amount of the distinct number of phone numbers are held while the Call Campaign is running. Once complete any busy, not answered, or error calls will have their TellPoint credits put back into your account.
Can a Phone Number List contain duplicate phone numbers?
No, all phone numbers within a Phone Number list must be unique. Any attempt to add a duplicate phone number into a Phone Number List will be ignored.
How many phone numbers can be added to a Phone Number List?
Each Phone List can contain a maximum of 100,000 phone numbers. If you have more than 100,000 phone numbers you can create multiple Phone Number Lists.
How can I upload multiple phone numbers at once?
Use the "Upload File" button on a Phone List to choose a Comma Separated file (CSV) which contains your phone numbers. Each phone number stored within a Phone Number list contains the phone number and an optional description. The format of the CSV file should include a new phone number on each line of the file, for example: 2145551212, my phone number were the phone number is the first element and the optional text is the second element. If you do not want to include any descriptions you can simply create a text based file with a single phone number on each line.
Can I upload a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of my phone numbers?
Yes, but you need to save the spreadsheet as a CSV file first. Remove any non-phone number related data from the first sheet and then ensure Column A contains your phone numbers and optionally Column B could contain a short description. Finally, save the file as a CSV formatted file and upload this new file into TellPoint.
What format should I record my files?
TellPoint accepts WAV and MP3 Message Files. It is advisable to use a low fidelity setting since phone calls are very low grade quality compared to the standard WAV and MP3 formats typically used.
Can I have my messages professionally recorded?
Yes, in fact this is exactly what we do for all of our Messages. We use Digital Base Productions for all our voice recording and production needs.
How large can a Message File be?
There is a 5 MB limit for Message Files.
How long should my message be?
It is advisable to keep your messages to around 5-25 seconds. Any longer that 30 seconds and you may lose your audience’s attention.
